SHARATH M. SURY CEO S4 Capital | Adjunct Professor of Finance . DePaul University Mr. Sury is a trusted adviser to some of the nation’s wealthiest family groups and private organizations. In addition to serving as CEO of S4 Capital, a multi-family office investment supervisor, Mr. Sury is also an Adjunct Professor of Finance at DePaul University’s College of Commerce, where he teaches investment theory and portfolio management. As a recognized expert in the fields of portfolio theory and risk budgeting, Mr. Sury is a frequently invited speaker at various prominent venues, including for the Association for Investment Management & Research (AIMR-CFA Institute), Financial Research Associates, FinanceIQ, and the University of Chicago. His recent research on the optimal integration of traditional and alternative (hedge fund) investments will be featured in the forthcoming book, “Efficient Portfolio Management for Institutions.” Under Mr. Sury’s leadership, S4 Capital became the #1 ranked US wealth manager in both 2007 and 2006, according to Wealth Manager Magazine, a “Top 10” Financial Advisor in 2006, according to Financial Advisor Magazine, and was the #2 ranked US wealth manager in 2005, according to the Bloomberg Wealth Manager Survey.
