The S4 Capital Internship program is a unique, development program, drawing together our existing Intern Programs taking place across our network, to deliver a hands-on introduction to the fast-paced world of advanced marketing communications - providing real work & project experience opportunities, supported by our managers and leaders, including supervision and mentorship, structured learning & support for self-directed further study, performance feedback on Internship completion and guidance for the future.
The S4 Internship Program is one of S4’s three commitments to redress unacceptable imbalances in minority employment & career opportunities. S4 is recruiting Graduates & Interns from HBCUs and Adult Colleges in the USA, and intent to add S4 Scholars from High Schools.
The S4 Internship & Fellowship provides a secure platform and scope to grow. The USA Internship program is being done in Partnership with InternX, funded by the Fund II Foundation, Robert F Smith, Founder & President Fund II Foundation, Chairman & CEO, Vista Equity Partners. InternX was launched to find a better way to identify entry-level talent for employers, providing on-ramps to quality 21st Century quality student jobs for the by creating an environment for universities, employers, and students to cohesively work together for everyone’s benefit, motivated to get college students hired.
Our company is evolving fast, and we expect the same from our Interns. We’re in this together and will learn from each other. Each role and responsibility are designed for Interns to contribute directly to the company’s success, which is contingent on their own success.
Involvement in the essential practicalities of digital advertising and marketing, learning how this is rapidly evolving. Interns will gain a first-hand understanding of what we do; including how data and analytics inform better content, how we use programmatic to plan and buy advertising to make it effective for our clients, how technology is applied to the outcome, for clients. This will help with their future career plans.
Our intent is to challenge DE&I assumptions, for people to experience how great the Fellows, Interns and High School Students are through their presence and the value they bring. Their diverse backgrounds and perspectives are critical components to building a more truthful reflection of our communities. And, importantly, we hope that it’s not only all of them who get to experience the true meaning of inclusion.
These programs are also good business, it will make us more effective in terms of what we say and do.
